Before your bid
You must have an IBC login before you can bid on
iDirect
A deposit of is required prior to obtaining bidding rights. This
deposit can be used for initial purchases.

Placing bids on iDirect
Review the vehicle data on iDirect and place bids on vehicles. Be sure to note
the full FOB or C&F
prices including IBC fees for purchases. These are noted plainly after login on
the bidding pages.
Staff from your regional Auto Terminal.com or the iDirect department at IBC in
Japan will confirm all bids by email or phone.

At the auction
At the auction, vehicles are inspected against the condition notes listed on
iDirect by IBC sales staff.
IBC bids on the confirmed orders depending on your preference and requests.

After the auction
If successful, the purchase price of the vehicle at auction is forwarded to you
along with the FOB or
C&F fees associated with it.
If unsuccessful, the results of the auction are forwarded to you for review.
Successful purchases are transported to Auto Terminal.com Japan, Nagoya, for a
full physical and mechanical check. Data entry of all details and photographs
are made available on the Internet and can be viewed in your account.
Vehicles are shipped approximately 7-14 days after purchase depending on
shipping schedules and documentation.

Payment
50% of the total FOB or
C&F price is due as a deposit on all successful bids within 7 days
of the purchase. The remaining amount is due according to the terms of trade
for the market to which the vehicle is shipped.
Penalties will be assessed for late payment.

Idirect Internet Auction Services

iDirect is Japan's only comprehensive online auction service. More than 90
auctions are represented on the iDirect service. More than 150,000 vehicles per
week are offered on iDirect.

IBC receives auction data and photographs from Japanese auction houses daily.
This information is loaded into the iDirect database and offered online via the
iDirect website. This is accessible after logging into IBC Japan's website via
the iDirect button.

A refundable
deposit of is required to submit a live bid onto the iDirect system.
Confirmation of the deposit status of each customer is made by the iDirect
department at the local AutoTerminal or by IBC prior to making the proxy bid.

For successful bids you will receive a notice at the conclusion of the auction
confirming the purchase price plus FOB or CIF (Cost, Insurance,
and Freight) fees to meet your market setting. Each notice
includes a copy of the auction photos and the auction sheet associated with the
auction. The vehicle is then transported and processed through AutoTerminal
Japan to confirm its mechanical and physical condition. If there are serious
discrepancies, the vehicle will be returned to the auction with no charge to
you (as long as the return is allowed under the rules and bylaws of the
auction). Photographs are re-taken to ensure quality information and checklists
are available to you for your inspection.

For unsuccessful bids, you will be notified of the bid status and the sale or
'pass-through' price of the vehicle bid on.

Payment of 50% of the FOB or C&F price for each successful bid is required
within seven days of the purchase. Penalties
will be assessed for late payment.

The final 50% of the FOB or C&F price is due upon notification of shipment.
Penalties
Idirect vehicles are not part of IBC Japan stock and are purchased at your request.
Any cancellation of vehicles purchased through idirect will result in forfeiture of your idirect deposit.
